BRENDAN CUMMINS: CHAMPIONSHIP FACTS

•Senior championship career: Played 64, won 38, drew 5 and lost 21.

•Cummins played 20 senior championship hurling games between 1995 and 2001 with his current manager Declan Ryan and coach Tommy Dunne.

•He equalled John Doyle's championship appearances record for Tipperary, which stood since 1967, when lining out against Waterford in the Munster final at Semple Stadium on July 7, 2009.

•Cummins scored his first championship point, from a free, in last year's All-Ireland final against Kilkenny. He also pointed a free against Kilkenny in the 2009 league final at Semple Stadium.

•He played outfield in 16 senior football championship matches for Tipperary between 1994 and 2002. This included three Munster finals.
