Down's hurlers cemented their place at the top of the division with a solid win over 14-man Wicklow at Ballycran.
The Ardsmen played with a strong wind advantage in the opening half and led by 1-8 to 0-3 at the break, the goal coming through Caolan Bailie.
The dismissal of Andy O'Brien on a straight red card on 47 minutes for an altercation with Sean Ennis put a dent in Wicklow's revival hopes and points from Scott Nicholson, Conor O'Neill, Bailie and Johnny McCusker settled the issue in Down's favour.
"We set out our stall to get to the Division 2B final and we've two wins now from two games which is pleasing," said Down boss Ger Monan.
