RYAN GIGGS... that's who Tony Browne has been compared to by his old mucker Ken McGrath, who reckons his Mount Sion team-mate wouldn't have returned to Waterford "unless he felt he had a role to play."
Browne, who isn't starting for Waterford against Clare, but is expected to be sprung from the bench, may be the oldest swinger in town, but McGrath has no doubts that the defender is still able to produce it.
"Tony has unbelievable fitness for a 40-year-old," he said, comparing Browne to Giggs and Teddy Sheringham. "He's had a great two games in the club championship for us. At times he looks like a young fella still out on the pitch.
"To do it at 40 is unbelievable, but he definitely still has something to offer."
