Yanworth fell on his second start over fences in the Novices' Chase at Exeter yesterday.

Alan King's Grade One-winning hurdler made a faultless start to his new vocation when he won at the same track three weeks ago.

But this time it all went wrong. Barry Geraghty's mount appeared to meet the seventh fence perfectly only for his front legs to buckle on landing.

Much to the relief of King and Geraghty, Yanworth subsequently galloped away carefree as Briery Queen went on to win at 8/1.

Meanwhile, Brian Hughes secured a 556/1 four-timer at Ayr yesterday riding for four different trainers.
