Wicklow Brave headlines an intriguing seven-strong field for the Rose Hotel Race at Killarney.

Winner of the 2016 Irish St Leger on the Flat and the 2017 Punchestown Champion Hurdle over obstacles, Wicklow Brave appears to hold all the aces in this 14-furlong event, with record-breaking amateur-jockey Patrick Mullins in the saddle.

He was last seen finishing second in the Grimes Hurdle at the start of the month, in which the re-opposing Ivanovich Gorbatov finished well down the field for Joseph O'Brien.

Course and distance winner Dawn Raider holds solid credentials in the Handicap Hurdle over an extended two miles and six furlongs.

His runner-up finish in the same grade at Roscommon last week ought to leave him ripe for this task, with Barry Geraghty in the saddle for the first time.

Just Janice is streets ahead on official ratings for the Mares Hurdle and can oblige at a short price, while recent Naas winner Power Drive should relish a step up in trip for opening Handicap over a mile and three furlongs.
