Mikel Delzangles is fancied to take Classic honours at Newmarket for the second time in his burgeoning career as What A Name goes for glory in the Qipco 1,000 Guineas.
What A Name showed huge potential during her juvenile campaign, building on a promising debut at Deauville with consecutive victories.
A taking display in the Group Three Prix la Rochette at Longchamp earned her a tilt at Group One level and she ran a fantastic race against the boys in the Prix Jean-Luc Lagardere, beating all bar Richard Hannon's colt Olympic Glory.
Even if she were heading to Newmarket off the back of those results What A Name would merit respect, but she added even more strength to her claims with a winning three-year-old debut in the usually informative Prix Imprudence at Maisons-Laffitte.
The ease of that victory suggested she had progressed through the winter and, with ground seemingly not an issue, it is hard to see her finishing out of the frame.
