WITH the long-absent Go Native, one-time Supreme Novices' Hurdle favourite Waaheb and Grade One-winning chaser Lucky William among the entries, Navan's two-mile maiden on Wednesday promises to be informative.

Still, there is no more exciting prospect this week ahead than Teelin Star's potential fencing debut at Tipperary on Tuesday.

Having been well touted, Pat Hughes' Beneficial six-year-old delivered a pair of stunning pillar-to-post triumphs in two point-to-points in March.

While he then flopped inexplicably on his bumper debut at Fairyhouse, he reaffirmed his status as a freakishly talented horse by sluicing up on his reappearance in a Listowel bumper.

Chasing, though, is what the big bruiser is built for, so it would be fascinating to see him grace the Limerick Junction fixture.
