Watching brief

Pat Flynn's Sword Of Honour has disappointed a little since sluicing up in a Killarney bumper last year, but would be deserving of another chance if he lines out in the 14-furlong maiden at Ballinrobe on Tuesday.

A Ballydoyle cast-off, the son of Montjeu laboured badly on his reappearance in a decent bumper at Fairyhouse over Easter, before shaping with more promise when third on the Flat at Tramore.

On quick ground there, Sword Of Honour ultimately kept on well to the line, so he ought to have a big say on Tuesday if he comes on for that experience.
