The potential return of Arvika Ligeonniere adds a touch of class to Tuesday's low-key card at Thurles.

A decent novice hurdler that was fourth behind Berties Dream in the Albert Bartlett at Cheltenham two years ago, Willie Mullins' French import has been sidelined since subsequently bounding home over two miles at the Punchestown Festival.

Clearly versatile as regards trip, he looked every inch a chaser then, but his novice status will be preserved in that discipline until the season turns.

While Berties Dream is also engaged in the Irish Jockeys Association Hurdle over three miles, it is Arvika Ligeonniere that would command the most intrigue.
