The 2010/11 jockeys' championship is generating plenty of interest, but it is hard to fathom why Paul Carberry trades as short as 10/11, while Davy Russell can be backed at up to 10/3 to land a first title.

Having missed large chunks of the early part of the campaign through injury, the Co Cork native has made giant strides in recent months and he now sits just six behind the current leader, Andrew McNamara.

Since November, Russell has outscored Carberry 25-8, as his partnership with Michael O'Leary's Gigginstown Stud continues to thrive.
