Wachman's come to heel heads for Newmarket
David Wachman's Come To Heel has been supplemented at a cost of £15,000 for Saturday's Connolly's Red Mills Cheveley Park Stakes at Newmarket.
The Group One contest over six furlongs for fillies has the potential to be a cracker with most of the leading juveniles still engaged.
Come To Heel won a Listed race at the Curragh last time out and the runner-up, Hurryupharriet, franked the form at Ayr last week. The class acts are Clive Brittain's Rizeena and George Margarson's Lucky Kristale.
Rizeena took the Moyglare Stud Stakes over seven furlongs at the beginning of the month but also has the option of stepping up in trip for Friday's Shadwell Fillies' Mile.
Lucky Kristale beat Rizeena in the Duchess of Cambridge Stakes and followed up in the Lowther at York. The only defeat for French challenger Vorda has been at the hands of crack American colt No Nay Never in the Prix Morny, where she finished in front of Rizeena.
Adding further strength in depth is Charlie Hills' Albany Stakes winner Kiyoshi and Jane Cecil's Joyeuse.
The Falmouth Stakes on the same card has attracted 11 fillies and mares in the one-mile Group One at the confirmation stage, with the Kevin Prendergast-trained La Collina being supplemented to the tune of £16,000. She was fourth in this race last year but had not won for more than two years until landing the Matron Stakes at Leopardstown earlier this month.
The two other Irish-trained possibles are Wachman's Duntle and Say from Aidan O'Brien's stable.
