The Easter Festival at Fairyhouse, which runs from Sunday April 1st to Tuesday April 3rd is the place to be over the Easter Weekend. The racecourse is transformed into Ireland's largest playground, with something for everyone!

For the "grown-ups" there is some of the best racing of the year and brilliant live music - 2018 sees the return of our popular Easter Tuesday fixture. Coupled with great racing on the day, Easter Tuesday will also be our Family Day, with everything from an impressive funfair and face-painting to shopping and great food. This really will be a fantastic opportunity to grab some much-needed family time.

For the Kids

Fairyhouse has long had a reputation as a great family day out. Children under 16 enjoy free entry every day of the year and this year's Easter Festival will see the return of the brilliant Fairyhouse Funfair and the really fun and educational Front Runner Club, a brilliant initiative that gets kids involved and teaches them all about horse racing. All kids' activities are also free of charge on Easter Tuesday. There will also be face painters and balloon modellers on all days of the Festival. And that's not all! There will be lots of bouncy castles and pony rides as well, Fairyhouse is going all out this year to ensure families enjoy the Festival and get the chance to spend some quality time together in a great atmosphere.

The right notes

The BoyleSports Irish Grand National and the Easter Festival at Fairyhouse is about much more than the outstanding racing. There is great entertainment all weekend long. The Festival Bar will host a great racing After Party on both Sunday and Monday. Sunday will see local favourite Shane O'Neill entertain the crowds and on both Sunday and Monday the brilliantly raucous The Kilkennys will be whipping up a storm. There is also music in our hospitality areas with local favourite Eamonn Toal playing to guests in the Bobbyjo Bistro and the brilliant Eoin Woods playing in the Arkle/Ballyhack Rooms.
