Paul Nolan could be the man to follow at Cork today as he sends a quartet of fancied runners on a seven-race jumps card.

His four-strong bid is led by the hat-trick-seeking ROOSTER BYRON - a Punchestown reserve last week - and will thrive in the heavy going when tackling the Mallow Handicap Hurdle (6.30) under Kevin Sexton.

QUAMINO is another of interest for the Wexford trainer in the Rated Novice Hurdle (5.55) following a fine second at Fairyhouse in a handicap hurdle last month, although Gordon Elliott's Azua Emery is respected.

Roney also makes her racecourse debut for Nolan in the Mares Flat Race (8.15) but this is a decent affair with Jessica Harrington's Emily Moon and James Nash's Hollow Crest both interesting contenders.

Meanwhile, Rashaan (12/1) defied top weight and a six-month lay-off to make it back-to-back wins in the Tipperary Perpetual Cup Handicap when scoring at Clonmel for Colin Kidd and veteran jockey Niall McCullagh.
