Roderic in mix for Criterium

Dubai Dewhurst runner-up Roderic O'Connor could represent Aidan O'Brien in the Criterium International at Saint-Cloud on Sunday.

The Galileo colt is one of three entries for the Ballydoyle trainer, the others being the once-raced Recital and Navan maiden winner Exodus.

Roderic O'Connor belied odds of 25/1 to chase home would-be superstar Frankel in the Dewhurst and is a best-priced 14/1 chance for the Investec Derby at Epsom in June.

A total of 12 entries for the Group One event also feature Rerouted for Barry Hills, Clive Brittain's Abjer and the Hughie Morrison-trained Pisco Sour.

Derby hope Picture Editor will face nine rivals when he puts his Classic credentials on the line in the Bet365 Zetland Conditions Stakes at Newmarket tomorrow.

The Henry Cecil-trained colt is unbeaten in two starts and vying for second-favouritism at Epsom behind his stablemate Frankel.

With Tom Queally suspended, Ian Mongan comes in for the plum ride.

Leading the opposition looks to be the Mahmood Al Zarooni-trained Shooting Gallery, the easy winner of a Sandown maiden before finishing fourth in a Group Three event at Saint-Cloud.
