No Annie Power but there is plenty of discussion around today's Champion Hurdle at Punchestown.

Willie Mullins confirmed earlier this week that Annie Power will not run at the Festival and Vroum Vroum Mag stepped in for Rich Ricci.

The Irish Independent can't see past last year's winner but Niall Cronin has other thought.

"I was with Petit Mouchoir going into Cheltenham and I am going to stick with him here. He finished third in what might not turn out to be the worst Champion Hurdle.

"He has done it in Ireland before. You don’t become a bad horse overnight and I think he has been forgotten about.

“Obviously the way Vroum Vroum Mag travelled into the race at Cheltenham, you would imagine this back drop in trip will help her. She won here in this race last year. There is a lot of boxes ticked for her but I am going to stick with Petit Mouchoir."
