Osric to keep defying handicapper

Nicky Henderson, it would seem with his yard in such scintillating form, could win the Greyhound Derby with his yard dog.

The trainer's string carries all before it, and further gains appear forthcoming on the Ascot undercard -- starting with Osric in the Novices' Handicap Chase (12.40).

This fast improver can continue to defy the handicapper against some ordinary opponents.

Henderson's Soldatino holds even more appeal in the Victorchandler.com Handicap Hurdle (2.55).

Joint top weight should not stop the Triumph Hurdle winner, which Henderson suggested would have tackled the Christmas Hurdle won by Binocular had entries for the race been reopened. The Lambourn handler must believe Soldatino is well treated to start his season off here.
