Mullins hoping for Lingo reversal

Tom Mullins is hopeful Bob Lingo can reverse placings with his Punchestown conqueror Roi Du Mee when they renew rivalry in the Woodlands Park 100 Club Nas Na Riogh Novice Chase at Naas on Sunday.

Bob Lingo was beaten 11 lengths into second place by Gordon Elliott's charge earlier this month but Mullins feels there might be a different result this time if his horse handles going left handed.

"He's in very good nick since he last ran," said the County Kilkenny trainer.

"We're very hopeful of a good run and we think he might even turn the tables if he handles going left-handed."

Roi Du Mee is on a hat-trick after a win on his previous start at Limerick while the other members of a six-strong field chasing Grade Two success are Ad Idem, Alpha Ridge, Healys Bar and Saddler's Native.
