Liz Doyle has confirmed Le Vent D'Antan firmly on target for the Flogas Novice Chase on Leopardstown's star-studded card on Sunday week.

The six-year-old was an impressive winner on his second outing over fences at the Christmas meeting, having chased home Real Steel on his chasing debut.

He has been given entries in the Arkle, JLT and RSA at the Cheltenham Festival and how he performs in the race formerly run as the Dr P.J. Moriarty Chase is likely to decide his Cheltenham target.

"He's in great order and I'm very pleased with him, we've had no problems whatsoever since his last run so he'll go a week on Sunday," said Doyle.

"It will be good to get him out again and it will tell us an awful lot.

"I'm looking forward to seeing how he gets on stepped up in trip.

"I know it represents a fair step up in grade, but I think he's earned it."
