Jive Talking set to make amends

It may be a quiet day in racing terms, but Jive Talking can still give the coffers a boost at Brighton. With just one Flat and one jumps meeting taking place, punters have plenty of time to study the form and a quick glance through the figures of Michael Bell's Jive Talking offers plenty of hope.

The daughter of Zoffany may only have won one of her eight career outings, but she has yet to finish worse than fifth and is virtually guaranteed to give her supporters a good run for their money.

Tried in better company than this at Salisbury last time out, Jive Talking found it tough going as she was a bit too keen in the early stages before dropping off the pace in the finish.

The mile-and-a-half trip that day was clearly a stretch of her stamina and dropped back to 10 furlongs here, Jive Talking can get back on the right track.

Buxted Dream, meanwhile, can bring up his hat trick in the Marathonbet Sportsbook Handicap.

Luca Cumani's charge has struck gold at Lingfield and Brighton on his last two starts, with his most recent victory coming nearly two weeks ago over this same six-furlong trip.
