AFTER a disappointing day at Navan on Sunday, Tony McCoy quickly resumed the winning groove at Ffos Las where a double helped him to his 150th winner of the season.

McCoy travelled from Navan -- where he failed to record a winner and was unseated from the well-fancied Colbert Station -- to Leeds, for the BBC Sports Personality of the Year awards, in which he came third.

McCoy was on the road early yesterday morning for a trip to Ffos Las, where he was victorious on It's A Doddle (7/2) for JP McManus and Jonjo O'Neill in the novice hurdle, with victory only looking likely in the final 100 yards.

The 18-times champion jockey then partnered the Rebecca Curtis-trained newcomer Imagine The Chat -- also owned by McManus -- to victory in the closing bumper.
