Elements for Leopardstown to reschedule
The meeting scheduled for Leopardstown yesterday that had to be postponed because of a waterlogged track has been re-arranged for April 16, with the first race at 3.35.
Entries for the rescheduled card, which features the Listed Heritage Stakes, will close at noon on April 11, with declarations to run to be made by 10am on April 15.
Wexford's card scheduled for tomorrow has also been cancelled due to the wet weather which has caused partial waterlogging at the track.
Britain has been hit by the elements too, with the meeting due to held at Warwick today called off, with some areas of the course flooded and false patches of ground in the back straight.
The British Horseracing Authority has announced an additional National Hunt fixture will take place at Fakenham on Saturday.
Stuart Middleton, BHA racing operations manager, said: "We are grateful to Fakenham for stepping in to stage this additional fixture after the recent spate of abandonments. The programme of races has been compiled following an assessment of the races lost recently."
