Doyle to hit mark for Gigginstown

TODAY'S meetings at Tyrella and Carrigtwohill are rescheduled from the last two weekends, so small fields can be expected at both.

POINT-TO-POINT

Tomorrow at Askeaton, the second four-year-old maiden of the season takes place and, with Pat Doyle taking the first one last Sunday, it will be hard to bypass him with two Gigginstown-owned runners – Altiepix and Apache Park.

At Tallow, there is also a four-year-old maiden and the Robert Tyner pair could be of interest, Simple Steps and Travel Ogue. The Jimmy Mangan-trained Oscar Delta would be the star attraction in the Open. Daniel Kenneally's Takeithandy may have found a winning chance in the confined.

At Ballydarragh The Boss's Dream has been a model of consistency for Brian Jordan. Vital Plot has the course experience to contest this Open. He will have to be at his best to see off Loosen My Load and Tyler's Cottage.
