Do the double

Wayne Bailey

SOCCER

Notts County may be the oldest professional club in the world, but their recent history isn't so glorious and they now sit at the bottom of League One. Last Tuesday's 5/1 loss to Oldham has left the fans and players totally demoralised and it's hard to see Shaun Derry's men bouncing back as Wolves (4/5) come to town.

RACING

Emma Lavelle has admitted that she's still learning about Timesremembered, but he appears to be progressing nicely and the five-year-old was victorious in a 2m4f Grade Two at Chepstow last month. Previously, he'd won in maiden company at Uttoxeter.

He's got an extra furlong to contend with today, which may not be his optimum trip, but, nonetheless, he looks every inch a bargain at 5/2 in today's Grade Two Neptune Investment Novices' Hurdle (3.35 Cheltenham).

* Last week's double was successful at an overall price of 11/4.
