Do the double

With Imperial Shabra some 70lbs behind his rivals, tomorrow's Tied Cottage Chase at Punchestown (2.55) is pretty much a match between Sizing Europe and Big Zeb, which just gets the vote at around 4/6.

Colm Murphy's 10-year-old gelding is no spring chicken, but he was as good as ever when landing his sixth Grade One at Leopardstown over the Christmas Festival against some of Ireland's best 2m chasers.

Sizing Europe is a class act, that's for sure, but he's a little inconsistent at times and, while he won the Tingle Creek in early December, it was a weak enough field. Tomorrow's race will let us know if his place at the top of the Champion Chase market is justified.

Dublin take on Kerry in the opening round of the Allianz Football League at Croke Park tonight. It's sure to be a tight game. The bookmakers have the Kingdom as favourites at 11/10, but they've yet to play a competitive game this season, whereas Dublin have seen action in the O'Byrne Cup. With a slight fitness edge over their rivals, the Dubs are taken to get their campaign off to a winning start, priced around 5/4.
