There are very few prizes that Aidan O'Brien has not collected in a record-breaking training career and the Ballydoyle handler has set his eyes on a rare all-weather success in England with his first runner in Saturday's Winter Derby at Lingfield.

O'Brien has nominated Clear Skies - a five-time winner on the Polytrack at Dundalk - as his sole entry at the five-day stage for the Group Three with the JP McManus-owned five-year-old among 14 in contention.

Clear Skies heads the betting for O'Brien at 3/1 with last year's winner Convey (11/2) one of two possibles for Michael Stoute along with Autocratic (7/2), while John Gosden is likely to be represented by Winter Derby Trial winner Utmost.
