Bey is one to beat

Nick Robson

First-time blinkers can spark Chiswick Bey back to life in the Your Favourite Pool Bets At totepool.com Handicap at Ayr.

Richard Fahey's four-year-old looked a promising type as a juvenile but this season has not gone to plan, and he has slipped down the ratings to 82. He does handle a bit of cut in the ground but would not want it bottomless. With Shane B Kelly taking a further 5lb off and the headgear to help, it would be no surprise to see him back in business.

Michael Dods has his team in good nick and The Oil Magnate looked close to returning to winning ways last time out. He's out again in the totepool.com Sports, Games, Bingo & More Handicap, and despite the burden of top weight he must go close.

Wilf Storey's Petrocelli went close at Ripon last time out and can go one better in the Bet On Wimbledon Final At totepool.com Handicap. The winner that day, Eastwood Ho, has followed up at Doncaster and as it was Petrocelli's first run of the campaign, he can be expected to strip fitter this time.

Hughie Morrison has booked Tony McCoy for Stravita in the first division of the Don Noble Celebrating 50 Years Handicap Hurdle at Market Rasen. McCoy was on board when the eight-year-old was second last time out and the fact he maintains the partnership means better can be expected.
