Fairyhouse must pass a 7.30am inspection this morning to avoid being cancelled for the second time in a week, while Stratford across the water was called off yesterday due to waterlogging.

The Co Meath track was fit for racing last night but were cautious of the rain forecast overnight which may present problems.

If the home of the Irish Grand National does get the green light today, it will be the latest venue to play host to a gathering of some Grade One level performers, including the Willie Mullins-trained Bapaume in the opening beginners' chase (12.0).

The talented staying hurdler was just behind yesterday's winning stable companion Bacardys last season and with a clear round Bapaume should oblige here.

Mullins had mixed luck at Navan but is well equipped again today at Fairyhouse as Annamix is another which looks a warm order to pass the judge in front.

A talking horse last season, Annamix didn't have the campaign many expected but can make use of being a novice for another few weeks and claim the novice hurdle on this card.

Debuchet has failed to follow up his bumper form but looks to have found a good opportunity today, while recent winner Georgieshore can win again.
