Colaiste Eanna of Rathfarnham equalised on three occasions before eventually seeing off 10-man De La Salle Dundalk to lift the Dr Tony O'Neill Leinster Schools Senior Cup yesterday.

In a 10-goal thriller, DLS remained in the tie until the final half-hour despite losing Adam Shields to a harsh red card on 21 minutes.

The Dublin school finally took command once Warren Egan's delightful chip brought the tie level for the third time.

Egan completed his hat-trick, while Eric Healy, Aaron Kavanagh and substitute Djamell Djedda joined midfield powerhouse Eoin Stokes on the scoresheet to give Colaiste Eanna a flattering victory.

Their prize for claiming the provincial crown is a national semi-final against Presentation College from Galway on Thursday, February 26 in Waterford.
