Spoofer lived up to his lofty reputation with a brilliant run in the first round of the Comerford Cakes Puppy Stake last weekend and he can further enhance his high regard in tonight's opening semi-final at Shelbourne Park.

Trained by Phil Gough, Spoofer (8.27) displayed brilliant early pace last week and he has the trap draw to go clear again with Sliabh Liag the likely danger.

Just four contest the second semi-final and the one to be on is the Peter Comerford and Tony Moore-owned Killer Bee (8.42) with his powerful finish.

Down at Curraheen Caislean Fifi (9.20) is the choice for the final of the Grand National while Clonbrien Prince (8.50) and Skywalker Logan (9.05) should maintain their domination of the John Slyne Memorial Open 575.
