Our original fancy to win the classic, Clonbrien Prince, goes to traps tonight for the Barking Buzz St Leger final at Limerick vying for favouritism with his kennel companion Lenson Blinder.

They have been the two favourites for this classic since the draw was made and they will run from neighbouring traps tonight. Lenson Blinder has been marginally fancied by the layers but Clonbrien Prince (9.54) beat him by six lengths last week.

Lenson is a strong starter and stayer while Blastoff Jet was a surprise winner for Philip Buckley last week and is capable of another shock.

Graham Holland has three finalists, his third runner being the well-drawn Nice Charmer but he will need a slice of luck. Clonbrien Prince remains the choice and can win from Lenson Blinder.

Ballyanne Sim and Rockybay Rover have been withdrawn from the Gain Select 'Stakes semis at Waterford and Cabra Hurricane can be the night's banker in the second heat.
