Apart from the Derby final, the biggest night of the year at Shelbourne Park is the Night of Stars and the seventh running of the end-of-season spectacular promises to be one of the greatest stagings of the gala.

The 13-race card is packed full of champions and a huge crowd is anticipated for the meeting which kicks off at the later time of 8.30pm due to the rugby game at the Aviva.

The race of the night could be the Droopys Nidge Open 525 where the big three are Derby winner Ballyanne Sim, Laurels winner Rockybay Foley and Select Stakes hero Cabra Hurricane.

The latter is drawn on the inside of his main rivals and that could swing it for him.

Bet of the evening can be Pat Guilfoyle's Skywalker Logan (11.30) in the Future Boy 600 where the trap looks ideal.

John Codd's Cushie Jet can come good in the BoyleSports 550 while Robert Gleeson's Droopys Saga (10.15) is fancied in the Droopys Stud Bitch 525.
