One-time Irish Derby favourite Lenson Blinder bounced back to top form as the fastest winner in the Barking Buzz App St Leger at Limerick on Saturday night. He was one of four heat winners for Graham Holland, who has a strong team for the classic.

Lenson Blinder finally disposed of Kilbride Warrior's strong challenge to the third bend before winning by three lengths from Kilbride in 29.64.

Our competition fancy Clonbrien Prince was also impressive as he won the final heat in 29.68, while last year's winner Clonbrien Hero came up trumps in 29.84. The other Holland winner was Nice Charmer in 29.85.

The major shock was the elimination of Droopys Davy, as he hit the deck at the first bend in the opening heat.

Holland was also the man to follow at Shelbourne, where he supplied the two winners of the Shelbourne Open 600. Drive On Tipp led all the way in the first heat as he beat Minor Mike by four lengths in 32.24 while Macaroon Cruz led from the second bend when taking the other heat in 32.56.

Eamon Moore's Broadstrand Kiwi was fastest in the Agri Stores Fair Warrior at Mullingar when an easy winner in 21.40.
