There will be a real parade of stars in tonight's session of BoyleSports Irish Derby heats at Shelbourne Park but unfortunately the dual Champion Stakes winner Jaytee Yankee has been withdrawn due to lameness following a home gallop.

However, the likes of ante-post market leaders Borna Gin, Droopys Davy, Lenson Blinder, Jaytee Taylor, Magical Bale, Skywalker Logan, Droopys Expert, Clonbrien Hero and Cash Is King will all be in action and there should be some fireworks during the 13- race programme.

The Pat Buckley-trained Borna Gin and Droopys Davy will be very strong favourites for their contests. Borna Gin (8.57) should win his contest with ease while Droopys Davy (9.42) will be having his first race for some time but should have little trouble in qualifying from Heat 19.

One of the big clashes can be the meeting of Graham Holland's Lenson Blinder and  Pat Guilfoyle's Skywalker Logan in Heat 20.

The latter was previously known as Magical Logan but he was bought Ray Patterson.

He remains with Guilfoyle but his inexperience may see him give best to the very impressive Lenson Blinder (9.57).

Others worth noting are Cabra Hurricane (7.42), Clonbrien Hero (8.12), Vahsel Bay (8.27), Blitzem Bill (9.12), Cash Is King (9.27), Jaytee Taylor (10.27) and Magical Bale (10.42).
