With our leading bitches bidding for Oaks competitions on both sides of the Irish Sea next week there will be huge interest in the 10th race at Shelbourne Park tonight.

Reigning Irish Oaks champion Jaytee Jordan will be going for the English Oaks next weekend and trainer Paul Hennessy gives her another outing as she continues her return from season.

She may need another outing to bring her to peak form and the selection for this contest is the Robert Gleeson-trained Droopys Saga (10.12). She walked out of traps on the Night of Stars card last Saturday and, while a trap three draw tonight is hardly ideal, she is likely to be closer to the early pace and is given the vote to see home Rural Aloha and Jaytee Jordan.

A missed start also cost Cushie Jet (10.27) dearly last week but John Codd's tracker is capable of much better and he gets a confident vote to win the 550 yard finale.

Trainer Peter Cronin can land a double with the veteran Swithins Brae (9.42) and in-form bitch Enable (9.47).
