It's a busy weekend for greyhound sport, with the semis of the Sporting Press Irish Oaks the highlight on this side of the pond.

Sadly, both Boylesports Joy and Droopys Alice were withdrawn from the second heat during the week, meaning Ballymac Arminta will start as odds-on favourite to continue her procession through the competition. Her main rival is Limerick Oaks champ Killmacdonagh.

In the opening heat, Mags Angel will bid to continue winning ways but faces a tough assignment with No Recollection, Cracked Lady, Priceless Verona, Clona Dream and Ballymac Berry to contend with.

The Drive On Tipp Open 525 continues at Cork and local superstar Rockybay Foley must overcome a tough draw to maintain his unbeaten record. Best suited by a rails pitch, he races from trap five and needs to be at his brilliant best.

Spoofer posted a superb 28.00 last week and can again score from an ideal draw on the fence in the other heat.
