Flying times were the order of the night at Shelbourne on Saturday and John Linehan's bitch Droopys Alice repeated her first round effort when returning the fastest clock in the Best Car Parks Gold Cup.

'Alice' contested the first heat and she flew out of the two box and led all the way when clocking a sizzling 28.19 in beating Bakery Lane by three lengths.

Paul Hennessy saw his Priceless Blake edge out a thrilling second heat by a short head from Baytown Bubba in 28.43 with a second Hennessy runner Jaytee Tornado qualifying in third.

The other two heats went to the Pat Guilfoyle hot-pots. Cabra Hurricane raced into a clear lead by the start of the back straight and he then just held the big finish of Priceless Verona by a short head in 28.32. Music Toour Ears made a flying start in the fourth heat and rallied on the run-in to pip Garryvoe Noah by a head in 28.27.
