Jaytee Yankee didn't make his anticipated reappearance at Shelbourne on Saturday night but trainer Paul Hennessy has confirmed that the dog will run in the Best Car Parks Gold Cup, which commences next Saturday.

The dog was entered for a 525 for his seasonal return but a misunderstanding saw him drawn to run in the BoyleSports Getting Out 550 and Hennessy didn't want Jaytee Yankee to run over the longer distance a week before the 525-yard competition.

Entries for the Best Car Parks Gold Cup close tomorrow. Current plans are that the Champion Stakes winner and St Leger runner-up Jaytee Yankee will go on from the Shelbourne event to contest the Scottish and Irish Derbies.

In Yankee's, absence, Saturday's 550 contest was won by the Mickey Flynn-trained Vaguely Noble, which got the better of ex-UK racer Madabout Eoghan in 30.16.

Marie Gilbert's Milldean Marie posted the best time of the night when winning in 28.61 and there were doubles on the night for trainers Ian Reilly and David Murray. Reilly's winners were Dream Flyer in 28.95 and Conors Blake in 28.70, while Murray struck with Claires Turbo in 18.89 and Gurteen Feather in 29.02.
