WWE star John Cena trolls the entire adult population of Ireland with dirty joke about Irish golfers
Even WWE wrestlers are slagging off Irish golfers for their Olympic withdrawal now.
Rory McIlroy seemed at peace with his decision not to play in this summer's Rio games when he told journalists at the Open Championship this week that he would only watch sports that actually matter.
Shane Lowry and Graeme McDowell appeared far more conflicted when they confirmed that they won't be taking part, but regardless of that, all three marquee Irish golfers were trolled by WWE star John Cena last night.
Every year ESPN host the ESPYs, an American sports version of the Oscars, and Cena delivered this year's opening monologue.
Cena took the opportunity to tell a very dirty joke that slagged off both our golfers and the population of Ireland.
"Irish golfers Rory McIlroy, Graeme McDowell and Shane Lowry pulled out of the Olympics because of the Zika virus, which is surprising because the Irish aren't really known for pulling out," Cena said to an 'ooooooh' reaction from the sports celebrities in attendance.
A surprisingly risqué joke for a sports awards show.
