NIALL TURNER is hoping to get St Patrick's weekend off to a rip-roaring start in Cambodia this morning.
Former Irish international Turner (28), was in hot pursuit of leader Hyung-Sung Kim and his biggest victory in four years as a professional entering today's final round of the Handa Faldo Cambodian Classic.
One stroke behind Kim on 14-under after they both shot impressive four-under-par 68s in yesterday's third round at the Angkor Golf Resort, the Muskerry man's hopes of overhauling the Korean were likely to rest on his trusty putter.
At 6' 5", the Corkman is the second-tallest player on the Asian Tour and he's also among the longest hitters, while his approach play has been superb this week in the historic city of Siem Reap.
Crucially, he has also led the field in putting as he chased the $47,500 on offer to the winner.
