Graeme McDowell clinched his eighth top-10 in 14 tournaments this year as a final round of two-under-par 68 lifted him to nine-under overall and a share of ninth in the RBC Canadian Open at Royal Montreal.

McDowell finished eight behind winner Tim Clark who came from behind with a fabulous 65 to pip 54-hole leader Jim Furyk (69) and claim a second PGA Tour win to go with the Players title he took at Sawgrass in 2010.

Furyk, who last won at the 2010 Tour Championship, was four clear – after Clark bogeyed the first – and three ahead at the turn. Yet the South African landed four birdies in five holes through 15 to edge in front.

Clark holed from 15 feet for his sixth birdie of the day at 17 after Furyk hit his tee shot close at the par three, then made a five-footer at the last to clinch victory.
