Scott on course for Australian 'triple crown'
ADAM SCOTT stole a march on his rivals at this week's World Cup of Golf at Royal Melbourne as he successfully defended his Australian Masters title at the same venue.
An even-par 71 on the windswept links clinched a second win in a fortnight for Scott, who won the Australian PGA last week. He opens his bid for the 'Triple Crown' in next week's Australian Open at Royal Sydney.
Scott and Jason Day are among the favourites to win the team title, and individual honours, at the World Cup.
Meanwhile, Harris English won the OHL Classic – his second PGA Tour title – by four shots with a final-round 65
