Europe: How they rated

Luke Donald 9:

P4 W3 H1 Pts 3.

Wild card now has six wins out of six in foursomes and by adding a singles win over Jim Furyk was joint top-scorer.

Ross Fisher 7:

P4 W2 L2 Pts 2.

Debutant who helped lift Harrington after first losing with Ian Poulter. Cracked in the singles, though, with four bogeys in his last five holes.

Peter Hanson 6:

P3 W1 L2 Pts 1.

Rookie had a win and a defeat with Miguel Angel Jimenez, but was no match for Phil Mickelson in the singles.

Padraig Harrington 6:

P4 W2 L2 Pts 2.

Picked for his experience and after 10 games without a win finally felt the thrill of victory twice with Fisher. Singles loss to Zach Johnson underlined he is still some way off his best.

Miguel Angel Jimenez 8:

P3 W2 L1 Pts 2.

Oldest player in the team at 46, but far from tiring he got stronger and his bunker shot at the 15th to clinch his singles was one of the best of the week.

Martin Kaymer 7:

P4 W2 H1 L1. Pts 2 1/2.

Major winner's first cap began well with Westwood. Also won with Poulter, but suffered the biggest loss in the singles against Dustin Johnson.

Graeme McDowell 9:

P4 W2 H1 L1 Pts 2 1/2.

US Open champion had mixed bag of results with McIlroy, but after being put in the anchor singles role how well he responded. The match-winning star.

Rory McIlroy 7:

P4 W1 H2 L1 Pts 2.

Relieved to get first win in third game and even more relieved to get out of his singles with a half after leaving a bunker shot in the sand on 18. Surely first cap of many.

Edoardo Molinari 5:

P3 H2 L1 Pts 1.

Animated from the start, but it was his brother's birdie at the 18th that gave him his first half and the second came after he was four up.

Francesco Molinari 6:

P3 H1 L2 Pts 1/2.

Closing birdie completed dream Sunday with Edoardo, then faced Woods and found the world number one in dazzling form.

Ian Poulter 9:

P4 W3 L1 Pts 3.

Top-scorer last time and joint top-scorer now. Came back from first-day loss to show what a great match player he is.

Lee Westwood 8:

P4 W2 H1 L1 Pts 2 1/2.

Hard to believe he was back from seven-week injury as he led Europe into the match. Could not end it as he started, but still such an influence.
