Caddie's cheeky request to Pavin

NICE gesture by American captain Corey Pavin during practice yesterday.

Pavin arrived on a buggy while Padraig Harrington was taking some extra practice shots. His playing partners Ross Fisher, Graeme McDowell and Ian Poulter had moved on ahead. The US skipper invited Padraig on to the buggy and drove him up to re-join the lads.

With Padraig safely deposited Pavin quipped: "Anything else I can do for you guys?" Quick as a flash, Fisher's caddy "Wobbly" Morbey came back: "Yes. Give us 14 and a half points on Sunday evening."

Exit Pavin, but smiling broadly.
