Padraig Harrington and Rory McIlroy will tee it up together for the first time since the Irish Open in 2014 at this week's Honda Classic at the PGA National in Palm Beach Gardens.

Harrington and McIlroy featured in an in-depth and compelling interview with Paul Kimmage in the Sunday Independent last weekend and one topic covered was when they last shared the teebox together.

It was 2014 at the Irish Open in Foto Island when that scenario last arose but fans of the pair will get to see them go blow for blow when they tee up alongside Adam Scott at 12.35pm (local time, 5.35pm Irish time).

Here is the extract from Sunday's interview with Kimmage:

PK: When is the last time you two actually played together?

RM: A looong time ago.

PH: Thanks Rory.

RM: No, I don't mean it like that.

PH: I'm clearly the one sucking the hind tit here.

RM: (Laughs)

PH: When is the last time we played together? Could it be as far back as Fota Island?

RM: Yeah, 2014. There you go.
