Headfort's sensational New Course will host the €200,000 Irish Challenge on the Challenge Tour from October 10-13.

The event will be the final full-field event of the season with only the leading 55 players on the season-long rankings eligible for the Hainan and Foshan Opens in China and just 45 players making the season-ending Challenge Tour Grand Final in the race for 15 European Tour cards.

Designed by the late Christy O'Connor Jnr, the 7,125-yard test near Kells in Co Meath is consistently ranked among Ireland's top 10 parklands.

The club's connection with O'Connor Jnr will be further strengthened as the Irish players in the field vie for the Christy O'Connor Jnr Memorial Trophy, awarded to the leading home player.
