Team Ireland's Stephanie Meadow continued her encouraging start to the LPGA Tour season with a fast finish in the Marathon LPGA Classic in Ohio.
The Jordanstown star (28), who has made the cut in all five starts so far, raced through the field at Highland Meadows in Sylvania, rattling in four birdies in a three-under 68 that left her tied 15th on six-under, just two shots behind early clubhouse leader Andrea Lee.
The LPGA Tour moves to Scotland this week for the Aberdeen Standard Investments Ladies Scottish Open at the Renaissance Club where Irish eyes will be on Leona Maguire (25), who returns to action for the first time since February.
The Slieve Russell touring professional (25) is aiming to hone her links game ahead of next week's AIG Women's Open at Royal Troon, where she became the youngest player winner of the Helen Holm Scottish Women's Amateur Open as a 14-year-old in 2009.
"The lockdown was my longest ever period away from a golf course and competition," said Leona, who will be joined in Troon by amateur Olivia Mehaffey.
"I'm just grateful to be playing and competing again and hoping to make the most of it."
