CLAIRE Coughlan of Cork, Niamh Kitching (Limerick) and Terry Sexton of Dun Laoghaire will captain the Irish Ladies, Girls and Senior international teams respectively for the 2012 season.

Coughlan (above), a past Curtis Cup player, will be delighted to be able to avail of all her local knowledge, as the women's Home Internationals will be played at her club, Cork, from September 4-6.

This will be the first time the Home Internationals have been played in Ireland since they were staged in Dundalk in 2005 -- when Coughlan was a member of the team.

Kitching, a recent international, will once again captain the Irish side at the Girls' European Team Championships to be played in GC St Leon-Rot, Germany, July 10-14 and the Girls' Home International team at Radyr, Wales, August 7-9.

Seapoint's Paula Reynolds will accompany Kitching and the team for a second year, acting as team manager for both events.

Terry Sexton of Dun Laoghaire, who was a member of the Irish Senior Ladies team that played England in 2001, will lead the Irish team for the European Senior Ladies Team Championships.

The Euros will be played in Lugano, Switzerland, from September 4-8, with the Senior Home Internationals taking place at Elie & Earlsferry, Scotland from October 2-4.
