An amateur golfer has produced the most amazing round of golf, carding a 57 which included THREE hole-in-ones.
Former soldier Patrick Wills, 59, is a talented golfer who plays off plus four but never in his wildest dreams did he think he would ever card three hole-in-ones in one single round for TWO albatrosses and an eagle. His round also included seven birdies with just one bogey.
The odds on hitting three hole-in-ones in one round are well into the billions and it is something that has never been recorded before.
Wills' incredible feat came at Laurel Hill Golf Club in Virginia, USA, with the hole-in-ones coming at the par four seventh and par-four 10th before he holed the 187-yard par three 14th.
"When we got to the green I looked down and I don't even know what I felt - I was dumbfounded," Wills told the BBC.
"I don't know if I broke out in joy such was the disbelief. It was unreal. I had never experienced anything like that before."
Needless to day, the breathtaking 57 was enough for him to win the event - the Summer Solstice tournament.
