Galway ensured that there would be no fairytale run in Connacht for London in 2014 after they demolished the exiles by 3-17 to 0-7 in Ruislip.

Galway made a brilliant start with the wind in their faces as Michale Martin found the net for the Tribesmen as they raced into an 11-point lead after 22 minutes.

London's keeper Adrian Faherty, a Galway man, got their first scores in first half injury time from frees to ironic cheers from the crowd as Alan Mulholland's men led by 1-9 to 0-2 at the interval.

Shane Walsh added a goal to his growing tally of scores as Galway stretched their advantage in Ruislip.

Danny Cummins scored a third goal for the Tribesmen as they cruised to a facile 19-point success and they will face Sligo in their Connacht semi-final.
