Four years ago, three days before the 2011 Dublin v Kerry final, here's yours truly in me Dublin jersey in front of the grotto in Lourdes, saying a prayer for The Dubs to win. And three days later my prayers were answered, and I was in Croker to watch Cluxton put that beautiful point over the bar for the winner and join The Dubs in celebrating victory. This year, I'd love to do it all again, but there's n'ere a ticket (or two!) to be found. - Eamonn Frawley contacted us at contact@independent.ie

"For the semi-final replay, I was down in Dingle on the morning of the match.. I had committed to run a half marathon for charity. Was tempted to cry off, as I tore all my ligaments during the summer and had no training done, plus it was going to clash with the Dubs match. As my conscience got the better of me, I drove for 5 and a half hours on Friday to make it down to Dingle. Got up on Saturday, ran the half marathon in my fastest time ever – jumped straight back in the car and headed for Croker!! No stretching done or anything!!! It was a close but I just about made it onto the Hill with very tired legs! By the skin of my teeth!!! I’m desperate for tickets – missed out in my club draw so hopefully the 800KM round trip to Kerry and back shows how much I am dedicated to the boys in blue!! Fingers crossed for the win (have my nanny lighting candles in mass and everything!!)" - Picture from Linda Cummins (via email)
